Finely sculpted, athletic developer Flying Wild Hog and their personal trainer Devolver Digital have announced Shadow Warrior 3, a stunning new entry in the global best-selling franchise, will launch its barrage of over-the-top weapons and offbeat humour on March 1st for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Pre-orders are now open and include the exclusive Koromodako Katana - a weapon so great they gave it eight legs. Console owners will also receive Flying Wild Hog’s 2013 Shadow Warrior and Shadow Warrior 2.
In addition, the team is excited to reveal that actors Mike Moh, Andromeda Dunker, and SungWon Cho have joined the cast as the new voices of Lo Wang, Motoko and Zilla, alongside the returning Alex Dobrenko as Hoji.
Shadow Warrior 3 finds Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla embarking on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again. All it will take is the mask of a dead god, a dragon's egg, a touch of magic, and enough firepower to tear down the encroaching Shadowlands.

Sometime in 2009 a handful of us sat down in Austin, Texas to launch a new video game label that would embrace the fun in video games and never let go. The label would invite developers from around the world to partner with a team of passionate folk whose sole focus is to make their artistic vision a reality.
Since then we like to think we’ve done just that. Devolver Digital has grown in many ways from that first picnic table meeting over beers, but our team is still driven to bring interesting and unusual games to the forefront and help developers and our fellow Devolvers achieve their dreams.
Today we’ve become a publicly traded company. At first blush that can certainly sound like a departure from a group of friends starting a boutique game label, but really it’s a kind of validation for our team and our partners. We’re insanely proud of what we’ve accomplished over the last decade, and we genuinely believe this will make us even better.
The employees of Devolver Digital are still the majority owners in the company - from those of us at that first picnic table meeting to those that joined this year, everyone at Devolver Digital owns a stake in the company, its future, and its future’s future.
So what does this mean for your sixth favorite game publisher? This means Devolver Digital will be able to continue to invest into all the games we’re working on now, partner on new ones that we’ve previously not been able to consider, and add more of the fine people we love working with into our cadre of consummate video game professionals.
That last point is an important one - over the past year or so we’ve brought our longtime partners and friends Croteam (Serious Sam, The Talos Principle), Dodge Roll (Enter the Gungeon), Nerial (Reigns, Card Shark) and FireFly Studios (Stronghold series) into the strong but gentle arms of Devolver Digital. Those developers and our team looked ahead and saw that we’d be working together forever so we lovingly acquired them, mostly so they would hang out with us more. The games and experiences that these four studios have planned are incredible and each maintain their full creative autonomy afforded to them throughout our relationship. No specific plans for Enter the Gungeon 2 but rest assured we’ve asked them more than once.
The team at Devolver Digital is forever thankful for the support you’ve shown to us and the developers that have trusted us as partners and we’re beyond excited at what the future holds. We’re all still sitting at a picnic table talking about video games, it’s just a bigger picnic table. Oh, and please buy Inscryption.
Inscryption, the creepy, kooky and altogether spooky deck-building horror adventure is now available on PC via Steam, GOG and Humble. Check out the totally not-at-all cursed launch trailer below!
Devolver Digital takes no responsibility for any curses invoked.

Charismatic developer Massive Monster and their faithful followers at Devolver Digital have announced Cult of the Lamb, an adorably dark game about running a cult in a crumbling world of ritual and ruin, utilizing a powerful gameplay loop of base building and dungeon crawling. Revealed during today’s Opening Night Live showcase, Cult of the Lamb will begin recruiting loyal worshipers ahead of its launch in early 2022 for PC and consoles.
Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name. Start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland worshippers and spread your Word to become the one true cult. Every excursion into the sprawling realm reveals increasing hordes of new and more dangerous enemies, as well as rival cults whose influential leaders must be defeated in order to absorb their power and assert your cult’s dominance.
On returning to your base you must fulfil the needs of your followers in order to receive their devotion. Use resources to build new structures, perform dark rituals to appease the gods, and give sermons to reinforce the faith of your flock. As their devotion to you grows, so too will your power, allowing you to venture further into the mysterious forest and discover more of its dark secrets.
The decisions you make as a leader will determine how your followers see you - will you be loved or feared? Follow the herd to cultofthelamb.com and @MassiveMonsters on Twitter.

Nearly thirty years ago, a group of childhood friends got together to start Croteam from a small garage in Zagreb. The fledgeling studio was built around creative experimentation, pushing technical boundaries, and a trust in one another that would span decades. The team dabbled in soccer / football games before putting together a dazzling tech demo that would eventually become Serious Sam and change the path of the studio forever. But it was a struggle to sign the Serious Sam demo with a publisher and only one label - Gathering of Developers - showed interest and support. That support blossomed into friendship and respect which would eventually reconnect Croteam with some of the Gathering of Developers team when they later helped found Devolver Digital.
A decade ago Devolver Digital was just getting started and looking for its first project to partner on in the emerging digital distribution world. Similarly, Croteam was on the search for a partner it could trust to help them bring their beloved franchise back to prominence with the upcoming Serious Sam 3. And like that, the next big Serious Sam game brought old partners back together and forged a decade of friendship and dedication.
Since then Croteam and Devolver Digital have partnered on dozens of games - from the frantic Serious Sam series to the award-winning The Talos Principle across PC, consoles, VR and mobile platforms. Croteam and Devolver Digital have been dating for so long that we decided to go ahead and just get married.
Devolver has acquired Croteam...or maybe Croteam has acquired Devolver...who could really know at this point in the relationship. What’s certain is that our future together is ultra exciting with new projects like The Talos Principle 2, more Serious Sam games, and original IP from Croteam and the Croteam Incubator studios. Croteam will of course keep total creative freedom and Devolver Digital gets to keep making dumb recommendations that Croteam just ignores - we prefer it that way.
Both companies are thrilled to share this news and hope that you’re as excited about our future together as we are - it’s going to be a lot of fun. Also, buy Serious Sam 4 on Steam or Stadia. It’s got a chainsaw rocket launcher.
